Well, I installed my Cartech 20005 today (thanks Jim!). That's the best $$$ I EVER spent on thie supercharger setup (besides the Map mod and the upgrade pulley, thanks again Jim!)

Immediately after installing it and starting it up to check for leaks, I noticed that my B&M FP gauge was ROCK SOLID. No psi variation at all. It used to jump around 3-5 psi all the time when I had my JR FMU.

I set the static to 52 psi (it's something like 48 idle, i think), and the rise rate adjustment to about 1 turn from full counterclockwise. Jim said that this would put me at about the same rise rate as my JR FMU. It did.

Driving impressions: The car ran just like it did before, except I turned my BTC down to 0 (from 1-2 clicks) and I wouldn't even get pinging at full throttle in 5th gear (my boost gauge peaks at around 11 psi)! The next day, I turned the rise rate adjustment another half turn counterclockwise. Off the line driving is FUN once again. 5th gear pulls pretty crazy between 70-80 on the freeway too!

Can't wait to tune on the dyno now. . .
